Lionel 53 Rio Grande Snowplow - Super Rare Correct "a" In Stock and Ready to Ship! This is a Super Rare Correct "a" Version Lionel 53 Rio Grande Powered Snowplow from 1957-60. Features include a motor, a reverse unit, an operating headlight, a decorative bell, metal side rods, metal wheels and exquisite detail. This snowplow has a cracked window strut, it has been re-inforced at the top and bottom with glue. The other side has a slight crack as well. It has a couple nicks along the edges of the shell and plow, and the lettering is starting to fade. The paint is nice and all the handrails are intact. This item has been inspected by our authorized Lionel service station, and is in great operating condition. Please see picture for service details. Overall condition is Very Good+.
