Lionel 2460 LL Crane Car w/6 Wheel Trucks--Gray Cab! EX- This is a hard to find Lionel 2460 Lionel Lines Bucyrus Erie Crane Car with a gray cab from 1946. Early 2460s had painted gray cabs, which is a much harder to find variation than the more common black cab version. The 2460 Bucyrus Erie operating crane car was the first newly designed crane car of the postwar era. Lionelæs version is an accurate representation of a crane car that can be found on the real railroads. It has two 6 wheel trucks, a die cast frame, a boom that raises and lowers, a hook that also raises and lowers, a cab that swivels and two electromagnetic coil couplers. This car has a few minor nicks along the edges of the cab and frame; but the lettering on the cab is nice. This item has been inspected by our authorized Lionel service station.
