American Model Builders

A St. Louis, Missouri based company, American Model Builders was established in 1984. The company is known for manufacturing hobby and model construction supplies. The HO scale Country Grain Elevator was released in 1991, and was the first laser-cut kit released by American Model Builders.  The kit was well received by the model railroader community because it was not only aesthetically appealing, it was also easy to assemble. The company also provides custom run models for other companies, as wells as historical societies.

Today, American Model Builders boasts of about 360 items in a variety of scales including laser-cut wood structure kits and detail parts, and pre-masked acrylic passenger car sides with laser-cut door openings and grab iron holes, and Trainz is your premier source for American Model Builders items.
