Bowser was purchased by Lewis and Shirlee English in 1961. They worked part time on engines, and in 1965, they took it to full time. In 1971 both of their sons, Lewis and Lee came to work for the company. They now carry over 70 model railroad related lines. Sadly, on Feb 3, 2021 Co-Founder Lew passed away. Bowser Manufacturing continues under his son, Lee, as the current Bowser CEO.
Bowser offers a large variety in many scales, that of HO, N, and O. HO being the most popular. Bowser manufactures diesel and electric locomotives, accessories, and figures.
