Chooch

Founded in 1974 by Mike O’Conell in a garage in Glendale California, Chooch’s first undertaking was a promotional film entitled “Model Railroading Unlimited” for Kalmbach publications. The film was a success and won 17 international film awards. In 1975, Chooch introduced its first product in the market, the highly-detailed brass trucks and rolling stock details in O and P-48 scale. It was also in 1975 that Chooch became the first company to offer polyurethane resin products in the model railroading world. In 1998, Chooch opened its first resin factory in Taiwan which handles the production of scenic details and loads.

Through the years, Chooch has continued to improve, innovate and create new products specifically for model railroaders, and Trainz is where to shop for these items.
