The Electric Railroad upgrade kit allows users to install a Lionel Trainmaster Command Control (TMCC) system in non-TMCC locomotives. After Lionel retired TMCC in 2006 with the release of the TMCC-II Legacy system, upgrade kits are now made under license by 3rd Rail.
