Fine Scale Miniatures was founded by George Sellius in 1966. He started making HO kits in his basement, producing about 3000 of his first kit which was a small water tank. These kits are of high craftsmanship made of wood, plastic, and metal castings. He began making limited run kits which were very popular. George built the kits all by himself. After 48 years he retired with “The Jamestown Water Stop” being his last kit.
