Hornby Railways is a British model train manufacturing company. Founder Frank Hornby produced the first clockwork train in 1920, and in 1938 they launched their first OO gauge train. By 2017, the company became mostly owned by British turnaround specialist Phoenix Asset Management due to financial troubles.
Hornby has large selection for the OO scale model railroader. They supply locomotives, rolling stock, buildings and accessories. Along with model trains, Hornby also carries model cars through it’s diecast brands such as Corgi, Scalextric, Lime and more.
