O Gauge Trains

O Gauge trains are mid-to-large size model trains that usually run on 3 rails.

Originally introduced by Marklin in 1900, three-rail alternating current O Gauge was the most popular scale in America from the 1930s, when the Great Depression wiped out demand for the larger and more expensive Standard Gauge, to the 1960s.

These trains are generally made in 1:48 scale, although O Gauge was initially made for play value first and scale accuracy second. They're a great option if you have plenty of room and want to impress your guests!
