Developed in 1972 by Marklin, Z Scale is perfect for modelers who are limited in how much space can be devoted to a layout, or who appreciate the incredible delicacy of these tiny mechanisms. Marklin, AZL (American Z Line), and Micro-Trains are some of the best known makers of Z Scale model trains.
