Before we knew it, the 2-8-2 also known as the \"Mikado\" found itself in rail yards around the world from the United States to the Congo hauling freight from stop to stop. The Mikado would undergo a temporary name change after the Pearl Harbor bombing in 1941 shortly going by the McArthur, before eventually going back to the Mikado name after WW2.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis item has been graded per TCA standards (Restored\/Repainted) R-3: Good based on visual appearance. The locomotive struggles to pull due to bad worm gears and is being sold As-Is. The locomotive and tender have been custom painted by the previous owner.
