This is a Busch 12180 HO Scale Gmeinder 15/18 Diesel Locomotive. Closed version. Housing in rust-look. With standing field railway locomotive driver. Wheel alignment B. Length: approx. 35 mm. The locomotive corresponds to a type, which was manufactured in this construction principle from the middle of the twenties by the Baden company Gmeinder. The locomotive was produced in large numbers until the fifties, and is due to their robustness still partially in use today. The model of the locomotive locomotive is designated according to its horsepower with Gmeinder 15/18 (15 hp continuous / 18 hp short-term performance) and is powered by a diesel engine with three-speed transmission and chain drive with a maximum speed of 12 km / h. The gauge is 600 mm. The locomotive models are as in the model as variants with open and closed cab. The small locomotives are powered by a 3 volt micro precision motor with gear reduction for prototypical slow speed and strong traction. A built-in magnet increases the contact pressure of the locomotive on the metal-supported narrow track noise, thus ensuring safe power consumption from the rails and smooth, low-speed travel. The locomotives have on the back of the cab a coupling pin for realistic train formation and a magnetic coupling for use with lorries and wagons from the Busch mine railway range. As in the original, it is possible to drive on the smallest track radii (up to 100 mm) with the tram locomotive.Condition:
