There are some visible indentions and damaged on the locomotive and on the cars. There is some spot rust present on the locomotive, tender, and the cars with most noticeable on the wheels\/axels of the cars. Two are of the cars are marked with restoration stickers but everything else appears original. The tracks show signs of extensive previous use with excessive tarnishing on the rails and rusting on the metal ties. The wheels show average run-time. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The instruction manual is included. The original box is included.
