The 1666 does not have a smoke unit. The 2466WX tender features an operating whistle, a plastic shell, die-cast staple-end trucks with electromagnetic couplers, and metal wheels and axles.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eBrought onto the scene in the late 19th century and continuing use into the early 20th century, the 2-6-2 was a durable little model with some even surviving through the first World War seeing continued use in smaller capacities. These models were used for a variety of purposes from hauling coal loads to pulling smaller passenger cars.
