This loco was only sold as a special promotional set (not Sears as previously generally thought) and is by far the hardest of the postwar General Locos to find. The engine is complete with clean drivers, ornamental bell, metal side rails, metal wheels and the fragile plastic whistle atop the steam dome. The tender is complete with simulated wood, arch bar trucks, and a fixed knuckle coupler. This locomotive is non functional due to a bad motor. There are light nicks and scratches on the surface of the shell and chassis. There are spots of rust on the underside of the locomotive. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The original box is not included. The instruction manual is not included.
