It does not have a smoke unit, which is why it was dropped from the Lionel line after 1946 and replaced by the smoking 675\/2025 engines.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eBrought onto the scene in the late 19th century and continuing use into the early 20th century, the 2-6-2 was a durable little model with some even surviving through the first World War seeing continued use in smaller capacities. These models were used for a variety of purposes from hauling coal loads to pulling smaller passenger cars. Both items show heavy paint loss, chips and white residue on the shells. The tender has red paint dots on it. The locomotive has slightly bent rails. The overall appearance of each item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. These items ran when tested but the locomotive made a loud grinding sound while moving.
