It features a die cast metal body, rounded cab floor, motor, 3-position E-Unit, and an operating headlight. It does not have a smoke unit, which is why it was dropped from the Lionel line after 1946 and replaced by the smoking 675\/2025 engines.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eBrought onto the scene in the late 19th century and continuing use into the early 20th century, the 2-6-2 was a durable little model with some even surviving through the first World War seeing continued use in smaller capacities. These models were used for a variety of purposes from hauling coal loads to pulling smaller passenger cars.
