The inner cardboard liners are included. The inner flaps show discoloration and are not symmetric. There are creases on all flaps and on the edges of the box. The other inner flaps show heavy abrasions and water damage. There are black specs peppered throughout the surface and on some of the flaps. The box is sturdy and has maintained all original construction so it has been graded as good. The carton has had all of its packing tape and other materials removed and shows mild water damage. there are small black paint spatters on the carton. The insides of both boxes show scrapes from the removal of the locomotive when it previously occupied it. Please check the photos for a detailed look at this item.
