The 2245 was always sold as an AB combination. Even with a single motor and Magnetraction, it is a powerful locomotive. The 2245 is unusual in that it was produced for only two years and there are two distinct versions of both the A and B unit. The first of the single-motor F3s, the 2245 was included in several colorful sets and remains popular with collectors today. Features include a motor, portholes, operating horn, die-cast metal trucks, an operating headlight, a reverse unit, metal wheels and operating knuckle couplers.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. This locomotive shows scratches and paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. This locomotive shows rust on the chassis and trucks. The instruction manual is not included.
