Because of its many features, the 233 has become one of Lionel's more desirable Scout locomotives. Features include plastic boiler painted black, white lettering, two position E-unit, liquid smoke unit, dual magnets for improved Magnetraction, a single metal drive rod on each side, and an illuminated headlight plus headlight lens.
