This car was made to match the 763 and 226 steam locomotives and was one of Lionel‘s top of the line cars from the era. This boxcar features a bakelite body, diecast trucks, hook couplers and metal wheels and axles.

This Lionel Pennsylvania boxcar is a very nice, well-preserved example with strong overall eye appeal. The body retains a rich finish with clear lettering and graphics, and the molded and applied details remain crisp and intact.
There are some light signs of age and handling consistent with an Excellent-grade piece, but nothing that significantly detracts from the overall presentation. The roof, sliding door, ladders, trucks, couplers, and underframe all present well.
A solid, attractive example that would display beautifully and make a great addition to a vintage Lionel or Pennsylvania collection.
Overall condition is Excellent.

Condition: Excellent (<a href="#" title="C-7: All original: minute scratches and paint nicks; no rust or missing parts; no distortion of parts.
