Both have been tested and are functional. Some of the trim pieces, such as the metal railings, are bent slightly out of shape. One of the cars is missing its knuckle coupler in the back. These cars show scratches and spots of paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. There appears to be heat damage in the grooves where the car cleaning bottles would sit. These cars show spots of rust on the chassis and trucks. This item has been out on display previously and its overall appearance could be significantly improved with a thorough dusting or a light wipe down. The overall appearance of each item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. There are (2) sponges that are included. The instruction manual is not included.
