Before we knew it, the 2-8-2 also known as the \"Mikado\" found itself in rail yards around the world from the United States to the Congo hauling freight from stop to stop. The Mikado would undergo a temporary name change after the Pearl Harbor bombing in 1941 shortly going by the McArthur, before eventually going back to the Mikado name after WW2.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. The locomotive rocks side to side during operation, but does run well otherwise. This item has been inspected by our repair shop. The original box is included, however the Styrofoam liner is not original and the locomotive will need to be removed carefully. Please check the photos for a detailed look at this item.
