This set was very popular when introduced and was the first set to include the U36C diesel. The caboose has spots of surface rust on the underside of the car. The locomotives have slight discoloration on the trunks and scratches on the railing. A layer of shelf dust has settled onto the set. The wheels and rolling pickups show signs of average use. The instruction manuals are included for the locomotives. The original boxes are included.
