You can use this bridge across a river which is where you will see the real ones, or you could also be quite imaginative and set this up where another train had to go under it. The bridge has contacts set up so that when it raises, the power to the track in front and behind this are cut-off so you can't run your trains into the river. The bridge came with the steelwork being painted either silver and gray. The prewar versions of this from 1941-42 were painted gray because silver paint was not available.\u003cbr\u003eMarx 418 Crossing Signal with bell. It measures approximately 7 1\/2 inches long.
