The locomotives' long-distance headlights, cab lighting, and engine room lighting can each be controlled separately in digital operation. Maintenance-free, warm white and red LEDs are used for the lighting. The locomotives have separately applied metal grab irons on the sides and ends. The couplers can be replaced by end skirting included with the locomotive.
