When the headlights are turned off at both ends of the locomotive, then the double A light is on as a red emergency light. Maintenance-free warm white and red LEDs are used for the lighting. The locomotive has separately applied metal grab irons on the sides and the ends. It also has a representation of the air conditioning on the sides.
