The STrax Flex Track does not contain a built-in roadbed like the rest of the STrax product line. Incorporating STrax Flex Track into a standard STrax layout or a layout utilizing American Flyer track will require shims or spacers under the Flex Track sections so that its rail height will match that of standard STrax components or American Flyer track components.
