This is Tamiya 78012 1:350 US Navy DD445 Fletcher. USS Fletcher (DD-445) was the lead ship of her namesake class of destroyers, of which 175 were built during WWII, and she went on to a long and distinguished service career.
Its key features are:
Length: 327mm, Beam: 35mm
Her balanced form as well as details such as her 5-inch DP gun turrets, quintuple torpedo launchers, twin 20mm anti-aircraft guns, and depth charge launchers have been accurately reproduced in this stunning model kit
About 180 parts in light grey with fine raised and engraved detail
Single piece hull and one piece main deck
Detailed bridge with movable radar antenna
The gun barrels, gun turrets, and torpedo launchers are all movable to enable dynamic posing
A display stand with name plate is also included
Marking options:
Single sheet of decals with US Navy ensign and 4 sets of numbers for DD's 445, 446, 447, and 448. All ships may be painted with the same scheme but since US Navy camouflage practices changed during WWII, check references to be sure of its accuracy for any particular ship.
Paints needed:
Hull above waterline and superstructure: Neutral Grey, Sea Blue, & Dk Grey.
Camouflage; Waterline: Black; Hull below waterline: Red; Deck: Blue.
Additional Paints Required:
Flat: Black, White, Red, Aluminum.
