Tru-Color Military Acrylic Color is a line of airbrush-ready paint accurately matched to colors used by military entities. The acrylic solvent-based paint is designed to be airbrushed directly from the bottle without thinning. Use it on plastic models with no priming necessary, although you can use a primer if desired. Brass models must be sandblasted or treated before applying Tru-Color or the paint will not adhere properly. No additional gloss coat is necessary before applying decals to gloss or semi-gloss colors. Use acetone for airbrush cleanup, but do NOT thin Tru-Color Paint with acetone. Recommended airbrush pressure is 28 to 35psi. Military Acrylic Colors are NOT mixable with any other brands of paint, but can be sprayed over most fully cured colors from other manufacturers (experiment on a small section before proceeding). Tru-Color Paint Line Features Solvent based paint designed for the modeler. It is designed to be air-brushed without the need for thinning. Suggested clean-up of the air-brush equipment with acetone. Shake well before using. For a proper color match it is excellent for spraying directly from the bottle without thinning. Can be sprayed directly on most plastics or metals used in models. Surface of the model should be thoroughly cleaned before painting. Add TCP-17 flat for a less glossy appearance. Tru-color TCP-07 primers may be used on metals and plastics.
