Before we knew it, the 2-8-2 also known as the \"Mikado\" found itself in rail yards around the world from the United States to the Congo hauling freight from stop to stop. The Mikado would undergo a temporary name change after the Pearl Harbor bombing in 1941 shortly going by the McArthur, before eventually going back to the Mikado name after WW2.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. A small section of railing on the locomotive's front platform is partially detached. The locomotive and tender show scratches and spots of tarnish throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. This item has been inspected by our repair shop.
