MTH is a relative newcomer to the model train industry. Founded in the 1980s, MTH began producing a full line of O Gauge trains in 1994 and has since expanded into G Scale, Standard Gauge, and HO Scale. MTH’s O Gauge train line is divided into two parts. The first is the RailKing line, which features engines and cars specifically designed to operate on traditional tight-radius O Gauge track. The other line is the Premier Line, which features scale-proportioned trains that are exact replicas of the real thing. The easiest way to tell them apart is by their numbers—RailKing trains have product numbers that start with 30-, and Premier line trains have numbers that start with 20-. MTH trains are Lionel compatible. Trainz carries the full line of MTH products, including sets, locomotives, cars, track, and accessories.
