Established in 1969, Academy is a Korean model, toy, and chemical company headquartered in Uijeongbu-si, Gyeonggi-do, Korea, with distributors worldwide. For over 50 years, they’ve produced a wide range of hobby products, including plastic model kits, radio-controlled cars, educational models, paints, airsoft guns, and modeling tools. Academy is best known for its aircraft kits in 1:72 and 1:48 scales, as well as its longstanding 1:35 scale military miniatures of figures and vehicles.
