Position Summary:
A fast-growing E-Commerce company has an opening for a full-time motivated inbound inventory receiver. The inbound inventory receiver position unloads, sorts, and distributes incoming collections to the Trainz Warehouse facility. By palletizing collections in the racking using the forklift, the receiver must keep the warehouse organized and tidy. As inventory is needed, pallets are recalled and merchandise is unpacked onto carts/shelving for inspection, while all merchandise locations are consistently logged and updated.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Receive daily deliveries from FedEx, UPS, USPS & Amazon.
- Sort deliveries based on the destination department
- Unload collections from Trainz box truck deliveries and palletize based on collection
- Send daily emails recording the collections that are delivered with their corresponding piece count
- Park and recall pallets from racking as needed using a forklift
- Create pallet license plates and scan pallets into the racking for trackability
- Unpack collections from mail-ins as well as Trainz deliveries onto carts while keeping a daily record of shelf/cart counts per collection.
- Downsizing when empty carts are needed
- Return rental trucks as needed
- Drive company vehicle when needed
- Other duties as required
Requirements:
A candidate for this position *must*:
- Be detail-oriented, organized and highly motivated
- Have experience with Windows 10/11, Google Chrome & Basic Computer skills.
- Have the ability to think outside the box, make decisions, and resolve issues with minimal supervision
- Be a naturally energetic, fast-moving person
- Be able to repetitively lift up to 30 pounds, and occasionally lift larger packages up to 60 pounds
- Be willing to perform daily warehouse cleaning and organizing tasks
- Have a flexible “can-do” attitude and be willing to tackle a wide variety of tasks
- Have the ability to work for long periods of time on your feet
- Be looking for a full-time permanent position
- Possess a clean driving record
- Be able to pass our drug-free workplace screening
- Be a US Citizen or legally able to work in the US
- Forklift Certified or Willing to be Certified on site
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Physical Work Demands:
- Prolonged standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
Work Environment:
- This position will require work both inside a warehouse environment with an open climate-controlled layout that is susceptible to temperature fluctuations
