Here is a Lionel 6-38094 O Gauge Milwaukee Road Hiawatha 4-4-2 Steam Loco & Tender #3. In 1935, the Milwaukee Road introduced an all new streamlined passenger train capable of both dizzying speeds and luxurious service. The Milwaukee Road dubbed this fast and fantastic train the Hiawatha. Built by the American Locomotive Company, locomotive Number 3 was delivered in May 1936. Dressed in vibrant orange, maroon, and gray, this new locomotive was prepared for service with the Hiawatha. Built from all-new tooling, this classic locomotive features many prototypical details, including an opening front cowl, opening cab doors, and separately applied handrails and catwalks. This model also boasts the unsurpassed RailSounds 5.0 sound system with two FatBoy speakers. Matching Hiawatha passenger cars are also available, complete with a Beaver Tail observation car. Features include TrainMaster Command Control equipped—able to run in Command Control Mode or in Conventional Transformer Control Mode, Odyssey System for speed control with ON/OFF switch, High-torque Pittman motor with momentum flywheel, Wireless Tether connection between locomotive and tender, Operating headlight, Illuminated classification lights, Die-cast metal locomotive body, frame, and trucks, ElectroCoupler on rear of tender, Traction tires, Synchronized fan-driven smoke unit ,Separately applied metal details, including accurate builder’s plates, Illuminated cab interior, Glowing firebox in cab, Cab window glass, Engineer and fireman figures, Die-cast metal tender body and trucks, Multi-part CrewTalk dialog and TowerCom announcements to create realistic operating scenarios, from pulling out of the yard to initiating an emergency stop, in both conventional and Command Control environments, Realistic operator-controlled effects, including the water injector, activated by the CAB-1 Remote Controller, DynaChuff synchronized chuffing that shifts through 15 levels of intensity as the locomotive gains speed, Simulate the locomotive running light or battling against a heavy load by manually adjusting the DynaChuff intensity with CAB-1 commands, MultiWhistle effect simulates blows at different steam pressures, long and short attacks, and even extra quilling with each press of the whistle button, Independently adjustable volume control–use the CAB-1 Remote Controller to lower the level of background effects such as chuffing, while keeping operator-controlled effects such as the whistle at full volume, Gauge: Standard O, Minimum Curve: O-54, Dimensions: Length: Approx. 22 1/8 inches, RailLine: Milwaukee Road.

Originally introduced in 1880 in the UK, the "Atlantic" or 4-4-2 would rise to prominence around the world in little to no time after its introduction. Respected and beloved around the world from the United States to Mozambique, the 4-4-2 found itself commissioned in various rail-yards across several continents. In the United States the 4-4-2 would be called the "Milwaukee “due to it running on the Milwaukee rail-road, but most would find that the "Atlantic" just rolled off the tongue a little bit better. In its construction the 4-4-2 saw an advantage over other locomotives thanks to its trailing wheels allowing for a deeper firebox in the driving wheels. Most of the Atlantic models would see their time in the spotlight come to an end, and would eventually go out of commission in the mid-20th century. Today handfuls exist in preservation status in various rail-road museums.
