The largest of the mass-produced model trains, G Scale trains run on track 45mm or 1.75" from rail to rail. Using this standard track spacing, the size of the locomotive and rolling stock can be adjusted to represent tiny narrow gauge European trains up to standard gauge modern American locomotives.
