The 1936 No. 55 Airplane and No. 49 Airport Set provides a unique solution that takes your eyes up and above the bustling railyards and mainlines. A self-powered airplane circles the airport below while you control its height, steering the plane through dips and dives with its remotely attached joysticks. Attached to a metal pylon, the airplane receives its power from a built-in power supply hidden inside the pylon. Plug it in and grab the two controllers and you're off and flying. The original accessory is hard to find as few survived the bumps and crashes from landings. Consequently, an original in good or excellent condition is a rare experience making this unique reproduction the only choice for most tinplate enthusiasts. It features Stamped Metal Construction, Fully Assembled, Fully Painted, Built-In Power Supply, Colorful Airport Mat, Lightweight, Self-Powered Airplane, Flight Controller Joystick, and Includes 60 Cardboard Display Base.
