This is an MTH 30-2189-1 Reading SW1500 Diesel Locomotive with Protosound 2.0 from 2000. Features include an operating headlight and backup light, die-cast metal chassis, 2 precision flywheel equipped motors and optionally equipped with your choice of loco sound featuring speed control and bell, horn and engine sounds or protosound 2.0 with digital command system featuring speed and light control, diagnostic memory, a remotely controlled proto coupler and freight yard proto effects. This item has been graded per TCA standards C-8: Like New based on visual appearance. This item displays minimal signs of usage or wear across the body and underframe. It should be noted that this locomotive was assembled with the cab ever so slightly turned at an angle, causing one of the side handrails not to fit securely. The locomotive runs well but the speaker was removed due to overheating the engine board. The original box is included. The instruction manual is not included. This item has been inspected by our repair shop. Please see the attached picture for inspection details and additional operation information. Overall condition is Like New.
