This is a Lionel 8-81011 G Scale Thomas The Tank Engine Set from 1993. Thomas comes to life as he chugs along the tracks with his two faithful coaches, Annie and Clarabel who help run the branch line. You can remove Annie and Clarabels lids to reveal the interior of passenger seats and luggage compartments. The Set is Large Scale or G Gauge. It comes with a transformer speed and directional controller that you plug into the wall. Thomas‘s eyes move back and forth as he chugs down the track and his roof as well as Annie‘s and Clarabels are removable to add even more play value! Features include plastic construction, latch like couplers, metal or plastic wheels and one motor.
This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. There are scuffs, scratches and spots of dirt residue on these plastic bodies. The wheels show wear from previous use. A few of the couplers are bent down slightly. The transformer power cord is tangled and worn a bit. The track sections are not included. The overall appearance of these items may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is included.
