Brasseur Train Parts

Brasseur Electric Trains has been an iconic model train store in Saginaw Michigan since its founding in 1970 by Robert (Bob) Brasseur. The business began performing train repairs in the basement of the family’s home, becoming a Lionel Authorized Service Station in 1974.  The business expanded, offering train parts and a wide variety of model train products.  Growth required that the business move to a brick-and-mortar store front and then to a larger one, where it operated for numerous years.

The store did a tremendous repair business with its talented technicians including Bob, his son Dean, his grandson Jacob, Bill Hamilton, Larry and Brian Lutz, Brian Dugan and Greg Sass.  Dean and Jacob were recruited by Lionel initially as technicians and then Dean later to run its service and parts departments. In 2006 after K-Line went out of business, Brasseur's acquired all of the available unassembled K-Line parts and cataloged and sold them online for years along with its very large inventory of Lionel parts.

In 2023, Trainz was fortunate to acquire the entire train store product and parts inventory and is happy to continue to make all of these products and parts available online. Listed here are all of the K-Line parts that were acquired from Brasseur Electric Trains.
