The Polar Express Trains

A Polar Express railroad can start with a complete train set or grow one car and accessory at a time. Shop locomotives, tenders, passenger coaches, observation cars, baggage cars, figures, and other themed pieces for running around the Christmas tree, building a seasonal layout, or expanding a collection.

Trainz carries both current and secondary-market inventory, so shoppers may find newer releases alongside pre-owned, discontinued, collectible, and hard-to-find Polar Express pieces from earlier production runs.

Lionel has produced some of the best-known Polar Express model trains, including sets based around the Berkshire steam locomotive and passenger cars seen in the story. Depending on the release, sets and individual cars can include lighting, sound, remote-control features, character details, and other movie-inspired touches. :contentReference[oaicite:1]{index=1}

Because Lionel has released Polar Express products over many years, individual locomotives, cars, accessories, and older set components can also appear separately in pre-owned inventory.

The Polar Express has become a popular choice for Christmas train displays because the train itself is tied so closely to the holiday story. A complete set can run around a tree or anchor a larger seasonal railroad, while individual passenger cars and accessories make it possible to add more detail over time.

For other holiday themes and railroad styles, browse Christmas Trains for additional seasonal locomotives, rolling stock, train sets, and accessories.
