Today NZG modelle GmbH is a world wide leading company for high quality scale models made of zinc and diecast. The company was founded in 1968 by Betty Hauer and Gerhard Schmid. Over time their main focus became and continues to be construction machinery and commercial vehicle models in 1:50 scale. Other scales are still available for products such as lifting platforms, crane and road construction models, as well as historical models. NZG has produced over 900 different model types and delivered them to 80 countries.
