Scott received a degree in Electrical Engineering and had a successful career for years working for technology companies like Digital Equipment and Hewlett Packard, but he never lost his passion for model trains. Now, Trainz has dozens of employees, working out of a 10,000 square foot space.

The action figure industry is usually considered to have started in 1962, when toy companies like Hasbro began selling G.I. Joe Figures. This simple idea soon spawned a huge, global action figure industry, which today includes billions of dollars in sales and dozens of major manufacturers.
In the 1970's, the action figures industry really started to boom when Mego corporation began licensing comic book figures, most notably Marvel and DC action figures. Of course, the action figures hobby changed forever in 1976, when a certain movie about wars among the stars came out. Action figures soon became one of the most popular, and most in-demand toy, in the world.
In the 80's, action figures were hugely popular with the advent of major franchises, like Thundercats, Transformers and Master of the Universe toys came out. And in the 2000's, the action figures industry began to market toward adults, who had grown up playing with action figures and now had the interest and means to support a high end action figures collectible market. Spawn action figures were incredibly popular at this time.
