Founded in 1971 by Jerry Williams, Williams Electric Trains became known for O scale locomotives, rolling stock, track, and accessories, including reproductions of vintage Lionel and Ives trains. In 2007, the company was acquired by Bachmann Industries and continues today as Williams by Bachmann, offering collectible and high-quality model trains for hobbyists.
