Preorder Program: This document describes the terms and conditions of the Trainz Preorder Program.
Preorder Reservation: From time to time Trainz may advertise Preorder products on www.trainz.com (hereafter “the website”). These products will be clearly labeled “PREORDER RESERVATION''. The price of the pre-order reservation will be $0.00. By purchasing the pre-order reservation product, you acquire a prioritized reservation for that product on our waiting list. Reservation allocations from the waiting list are honored in the sequence that they are taken.
Preorder Price: The preorder price and estimated release date will be clearly stated on the product detail page of each preorder product. The preorder price is fixed at the time of reservation. Any changes in product price after a reservation is made will not affect the preorder price.
Shipping and Delivery: Shipping costs are included in the preorder price. We will endeavor to ship preorder items as soon as they become available, but delivery times may vary depending on availability.
Availability: When it comes to preorders. Trainz is subject to the whims of the manufacturers. While Trainz strives to meet preorder commitments, manufacturers may release certain products in limited quantities, or not release them at all. As such, payment of the reservation fee does not guarantee the right to purchase a product. However Trainz will honor any Inventory received from the manufacturer in the sequence the Preorder Reservations are taken.
Release Date: Trainz will list the anticipated release date of preorder products on the website product detail page based on the information provided by the manufacturer . While we strive to meet this date, Trainz does not control when the manufacturer will release a product. As such, unforeseen circumstances may cause delays. Trainz will try to keep you informed of any changes to the release date.
Allocation: When Trainz receives Preorder inventory from a manufacturer, we will allocate that Inventory to customers who have purchased a reservation in the sequence that the reservations were taken.
Payment: Customers who receive an allocation will be sent an email invoice containing a checkout link allowing them to make payment for the preorder allocation via credit card or Paypal. Customers have fourteen days to complete the transaction. Those who fail to complete the transaction within fourteen days will lose their allocation.
Cancellation: Preorders are non-refundable. Once payment for a preorder allocation has been made, it may not be canceled or refunded. However, in the event of manufacturing defects or other issues beyond your control, please contact us for assistance, and we will try to make it right.
Communication: We will keep you updated on the progress of your preorder via email. Please ensure that your contact information is accurate and up to date and that emails are deliverable to your account.
Limitation of Liability: Our liability for any damages or losses arising from the Trainz Preorder Program is limited to the amount paid for the preorder. We are not liable for any consequential, incidental, or indirect damages.
Changes to Terms and Conditions: We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to you via email or other appropriate channels.
