This is a Lionel 6-14163 Standard Gauge Tinplate Industrial Power Station #840. This is a reissue of the classic 840 from the 1920s.- It is the same original and ornamental in design, it is embellished with wonderful details, such as doors, windows, frames, etc., all actually separate pieces and inserted, not merely represented by lithography. This description of the #840 Industrial Power Station as written in the 1928 Lionel catalog is as true today as it was then. Majestic in size and stature, the #840 makes an impressive statement on any layout. New in 2002, this classic re-issue differs from its predecessor by the addition of inserted window coverings, lighted interior and an impressive smoke unit that emits smoke from all three stacks. It still maintains the classic looks and tinplate construction of the original. It features tinplate metal construction, a lighted interior, an operating smoke unit. It is 26" x 21-1/2" x 18".
