Trainz Quick Hits Article Directory

Trainz Quick Hits is a recurring article series highlighting interesting model trains, collectibles, and accessories that have passed through the Trainz warehouse. Because Trainz buys and sells train collections, our inventory is constantly changing, which means unusual, vintage, discontinued, collectible, and hard-to-find pieces can appear at any time.

The original Quick Hits series ran from 2023 through 2024 and was published almost weekly, with articles written by Denis Blazevic. Each edition typically highlighted around five products from the inventory available at the time, often mixing different scales and manufacturers and usually including a budget-friendly pick. Many of the featured items were collectible inventory, so once something sold, it could be a while before another example appeared.

In 2026, Lucy Hickey brought Quick Hits back with new editions focused on Lionel steam and diesel locomotives. The series is no longer published on a fixed weekly schedule, but new Quick Hits may still appear whenever there is an interesting group of products worth highlighting.
