Hey everybody! Welcome to the weekly "Quick Hits". It's our mini-showcase of rare, unique, and budget-friendly items that we've just added to our always-expanding inventory. Most of these items are new arrivals from all over the country, handpicked by yours truly for the weekly showcase. My selection knows no bounds, and includes picks from Post-War to Modern, HO scale to O Gauge, and so much more! Ready to add something new to your collection? Check out our full lineup at Trainz.com.
Without further ado, let's roll into what we got this week!
Classic Conrail Power in HO Scale
Kicking off the week, and first up in the Ho round-up, is this SD-70 G6405 Diesel locomotive sporting the Conrail road name. Packing tons of power in its DC-ready motor, and sporting the traditional "Bright Future" blue paint job those Conrail locomotives were so famous for creates an incredible life-like experience on your HO layouts. And if you're looking for something different. We have so many more great HO options for both steam and diesel locomotives on our website at Trainz.com.

Postwar Picks That Knock It Out Of The Park!
This week's Post-War selections are a couple of home-run pieces if I do say so myself.
Lionel 2543 Pennsylvania Aluminum Pullman
Coming up first for my Post-War picks is this vintage Lionel O-Gauge 2543 Pennsylvania Aluminum Pullman car originally produced from 1955-1956. Getting our hands on this piece early last week was a pleasant surprise because the condition of some of these older post-war items can sometimes be a bit of a toss-up! But, this beautiful passenger has stood the test of time, with the original patina holding up great over the course of half a century. Whether you're just collecting Post-War cars, or operating them, this historic piece is a great addition thanks to a strong aesthetic appeal, and verified functionality! Need some more Passenger cars? We've got you covered with plenty of Post-War selections on our website!

Conrail’s GG-1 Shines in O Modern
It seems I've just gotten a little fixated on the Conrail road name this week, as I once again find myself selecting another Conrail locomotive for my O Modern selection this week. But hey at least it's not another diesel locomotive.
Weaver 1067 Conrail Gold Edition
This Weaver 1067 Conrail Gold Edition is a beautifully made electric GG-1 locomotive sporting the #4800 road number and featuring that ever popular "Bright Future" blue Conrail paint job. The team at Weaver didn’t hold back when they designed this model capturing so many great elements of the real life GG-1 locomotives with its true to original design evident from the number boards to the pantographs! Couple a great design with fully functional twin motors, you'll probably never back away from the transformer when you set this beauty down on the tracks for a run. The Weaver 1067 Conrail Gold Edition GG-1 Electric Locomotive 4800 is one of my personal favorites (I'm a sucker for the blue paint job). And the fun doesn't just stop with the GG-1, our O-gauge inventory is unmatched with tons of great O Modern options to choose from.

Scenery That Steals the Show (and Your Picnic)
What's a layout without a little detail? At Trainz we've got everything from trees, shrubs, and bears?
Woodland Scenics A2737 O Scenic Accents Black Bear Figures (Set of 6)
That's right, we've got some North American Black Bears ready to steal the picnic basket you left alone for just a few minutes while you tend to that loose piece of track. There, see that -- that's my Yogi Bear reference, pardon me while I show my age there. These detailed little bears come in a 6-pack from Woodland Scenics and make a great addition for anybody running mountainous and famous North American route themed layouts. But it's not just bears we offer to bring those layouts to life; we've gotten a great variety of buildings & scenery to choose from our inventory.

Variety, Value, and a Whole Lot of Fun
So last and certainly not least is my budget-friendly pick of the week! A seasoned collector can easily tell you it's not hard to get carried away when you're adding your favorite items to your cart. So I've decided to add a budget friendly pick that brings tons of fun to your collection without having to break the bank. Kicking things off this week is this set of Lionel 29267 6464 Series Boxcars from 1999. Variety is the spice of life, and that's what we're bringing with these beautiful Lionel 6464 series boxcars. The set includes a 29235 NYC Pacemaker (6464-510), a 29236 M-K-T (6464-515), and a 29237 Minneapolis & St. Louis (6464-525) boxcar, each sporting a factory-fresh paint job and ready to grace your layout!

And That's a Wrap!
Well, that's all I have for this week! I hope everybody enjoyed my picks as much as I enjoyed making the selections. For additional products, please check out our diverse inventory at Trainz.com, where we continue to add excellent new and pre-owned locomotives and accessories to our roster daily.

Love models, just expensive to participate for me. So I just like to watch.
