Here is an Atlas 8928 HO Scale New York Central EMD GP40 Diesel Locomotive #3040 - Custom. This locomotive has had a new number decal (#3040) applied over top of the original #3014 numbering. The number boards on the front and rear of this locomotive still read 3014.

This item has been graded per TCA standards (Restored/Repainted) R-4: Very Good based on visual appearance. The number on either side of the cab has been covered with a new number decal. There are light nicks and scratches on the surface of the shell and chassis. There are damaged or missing trim pieces, such as the horn which sits on top of the cab. The hand rails are also damaged and bent out of shape. The rear knuckle coupler is damaged and likely unfunctional. The original box is not included. Please check the photos for a detailed look at this item. Overall condition is Restored - Very Good.
