This is a Blair Line 93 Boston Depot. Board and batten combination depot based on a Missouri Pacific prototype that stood in Boston, Missouri, just north of Carthage on the White River Line. Long since abandoned from active railroad service, this depot was moved in late 2005 from a farm field to Carona, Kansas and has undergone a complete restoration. This style of depot was also used on the Katy and other railroads. The ornate trim is a very close copy of the trim used on C&O depots. At 16' wide x 40' long this is a small size wood combination passenger and freight station that would fit nearly any size layout.
